The Hackathon is a LIVE 24 hour event in which 86 teams from around the world sign up to take part in, inspired by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
NDEJJE IET ON CAMPUS SOCIETY has organized the CAD Hackathon 1.0 to avail a platform for all Engineering and Technology students of Ndejje University to present their CAD/BIM skills in a competitive environment.
This event will occur on 18th February 2023, two weeks into the semester, from 9am to midday at Bishop Micheal Senyimba Science Complex, Ndejje University Main Campus
It's meant to s to promote passion for CAD and BIM skills, boost students’ skills and expose them to new networks (recognition in their future job market) and opportunities as well as avail free CAD/BIM software packages to passionate students.
It's all free to Ndejje University students, and are only required to come up with their ideas of whichever engineering project they are to develop a CAD/BIM model for.
Potential Participants are to be clearly briefed into what is expected of them plus the various Judging criterion.
All participants will be awarded acordingly.
