Be Open-Minded

While at college, a wealth of knowledge is thrown at you, and being open to new ideas and theories is one of the most beneficial things you can do to learn and grow. Asking questions and learning as much you can about a subject will allow you to be more educated and help you create a more articulate opinion. This character strength helps individuals build knowledge about specific issues or points of view – and provide sound recommendations and advice. Open-minded people do not jump to conclusions. Instead, they seek out and examine all of the available evidence before forming an opinion.

Leave Some Time For Yourself

  • Me first

Take time to first focus on yourself and your well-being. You can allow yourself time to do activities that make you happy. It can be talking with friends, calling home, watching a movie, reading a book, or working out; there is something out there for everyone.

  • Timing it out

It's really never cool jumping from one task to another and always rushing to get to places because time got away from you. Try putting all the tasks in order of how you need to complete them. It can keep you stress-free.

  • It’s ok to say ‘no’

Realize that you cannot do everything or help everyone all the time. Prioritize oneself more; Remember life is already enough stress itself.

Work/ Life Balance

  • Maintaining a good balance in your life during college can turn out the best life experience.

  • Stress can have an impact on your health. Regular exercise and meditation can help you make it through stressful days and weeks.

  • Identify a time management strategy that can help you stay on track on a daily and weekly basis.

  • Be sure to include in your schedule enjoyable activities like watching a match, show or working out.Don't Compare Success

Turn comparison into inspiration. Learn to accept yourself, you can't be them.

Be Money Smart

Here non-residents can surely tell their sad story; I mean the typical ones. It's wise, if at all you're maintaining oneself, to spend as little as possible on books(use the library and softcopies), take advantage of free food(funny but it's real), and control your appetite(know your wallet).

Friendships Require Time And Effort

We know social capital, and the saying that 'your network is your net-worth' and on top of that, forming real cool and worthy friendships takes time and effort. It's clearly reasonable to consider making an effort to see new friends regularly, and to check in with them in between meet ups.

You Don't Have To Have It All Figured Out

  1. You’re Still Young

  2. Mistakes Help You Learn

  3. Life is a Journey

  4. Worrying Wastes Time

  5. No One Else Does
